Over the past few years, the Grupo CBO stood out through:

      • Governance

In 2023, CBO received the Pró-Ética Seal, recognizing companies committed to implementing measures to prevent, detect, and address fraud. CBO became the first Brazilian offshore support company to earn this certification. Pró-Ética is an initiative of Brazil’s Office of the Comptroller General (CGU) that promotes the voluntary adoption of integrity measures by publicly recognizing companies that, regardless of size or industry, are committed to implementing measures to prevent, detect, and address corruption and fraud.

      • Sustainability

CBO managed the operation of Brazil’s first hybrid support vessel. In 2023, it partnered with Delta Logistics Limited, a maritime support company with extensive experience in the Caribbean and South America, to operate the Delta Commander, a PSV (Platform Supply Vessel) with a complete specification, equipped to switch between diesel and battery power, improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. This vessel began operating in December 2023, under a contract with Equinor, becoming the first hybrid vessel in the Brazilian maritime support sector.

Additionally, in 2024, the company hybridized the PSV CBO Wiser in a collaboration between CBO, Equinor Brasil, and Wärtsilä. This was the first vessel to be hybridized in Brazil, reinforcing our legacy of innovation and pioneering spirit. With this project, we ranked 2nd in the “Inovativos” Award in 2024.

In 2022, CBO won the Firjan Sustainability Award in the Climate Change and Energy Efficiency category with a project developed internally, the Smart Ship project, which aims to identify waste and propose actions for continuous improvement in vessels. The project helps control fuel consumption and reduce atmospheric emissions. Among the tools used are telemetry and process mapping..

In 2024, we earned the Gold Seal from the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program for the third consecutive year. This recognition is given to companies that prepare a complete greenhouse gas emissions (GEE) inventory, have the information verified by an independent third party that publishes it on a platform called Registro Público de Emissões (Public Footprint Record). This achievement means that CBO has not only adopted the main method for measuring atmospheric emissions but has also reached its highest standard of quality.

      • Innovation

The Época Negócios 360º research, produced by Época Negócios magazine in partnership with Fundação Dom Cabral, named CBO as the most innovative company of the transport sector in 2022. The initiative considers data collected over eight months based on information sent by companies and available in public balance sheets. In 2022, 420 companies were evaluated in six challenges: innovation, vision of the future, ESG/socio-environmental, ESG/governance, people and financial performance.

The innovation challenge, won by CBO in the transport segment, considers how much and how the company invests, what is the formal structure dedicated to innovation, in addition to methodologies, processes and metrics. The recognition indicates the quality of the practices developed by the company compared to other players in the market.

      • Outstanding Performance
